Foundation History & Mission:
The Memorial Hospital Foundation was founded in 2002 to support and improve rural healthcare needs in Moffat County. The Memorial Hospital Foundation's mission is to cultivate relationships and partnerships within our community to generate financial and related resources to enhance the hospital's capacity to provide quality healthcare. The current focus of the Foundation is to procure financial resources to build a new healthcare facility for the residents of Moffat and surrounding areas.

Foundation's Accomplishments:
The Memorial Hospital Foundation's major accomplishments include a successful million dollar campaign. The community campaign raised $1.2 million dollars for a new healthcare facility. The campaign included one-time pledges from local corporations and five-year pledges from individuals and business owners. As of September 2007, the Foundation collected $764,000 in pledges and expects an additional $500,000 in pledges over the next four years, totaling $1.2 million. Special community events include: 5K walk/run for cancer awareness and prevention; annual golf tournament and VIP Waiters dinner.

Foundation Contributions:

There are many ways to contribute to The Memorial Hospital Foundation.

The New Memorial Hospital Building Fund:
The Craig Hospital Board of Trustees and The Memorial Hospital Foundation Board would like to invite you in a community effort to raise financial resources for a new hospital. Individual contributions will be used to the maximum advantage as we move forward to build a new facility to serve the healthcare needs of Moffat County.

A gift analysis chart is provided for your review as you consider your gift to The Memorial Hospital Foundation.

All gifts are tax deductible and qualify for the Colorado Enterprise Zone Tax Credit. In addition many employers have matching gift programs where they match the employee's gift by a certain percentage up to one hundred percent. Please check with your employer before you make a donation to see if they participate in a matching gift program.
