Joint Commission Accreditation

The Memorial Hospital has been accredited by The Joint Commission Accreditation for HealthCare Organizations since 1973.

In 2013, TMH once again earned the Joint Commission Gold Seal of Approval for accreditation. We voluntarily met standards for healthcare quality and safety, which means you can rest easy when you or a loved one stays with us.

Founded in 1951, The Joint Commission seeks to continuously improve the safety and quality of care provided to the public through the provision of health care accreditation and related services. The Joint Commission provides certification using performance improvements methods. As an independent, not- for- profit organization, The Joint Commission is the nation's oldest and largest standards - setting accrediting body in healthcare.
